| Teva Adventure Series Brings a New Adventure to SA! 12th August , 2007
The first mountain bike leg to TA 1 & TA 6 spread the field, and the teams were in for some surprises along the way. For those who picked up on the clues and paid close attention at the Race Brief, the challenges were made just that much easier.
Coming into the orienteering leg it was a close run race with Nitro Nobblies and Three Legged Dog just 3 minutes apart, but this leg was not all about physical strength and stamina. Thinking and strategy played a big part in the outcome.
It was also great to see so many teams participating in the Teva Fun One with a bucket load of entries at the end. Yes, our new found friends in Adelaide, sure do know how to have a great day out!

Teva said "Hello Adelaide" for the first time in 2007 and the teams hit the course with enthusiasm, fun and and an enormous sense of adventure to make the day one of our best Teva's yet!
The bright sunshine was short lived as the cars started rolling into beautiful Para Wira Recreation Park, and a thick mist decended on Race HQ, dropping the temperature by a further 5 degrees. But this did not deter our intrepid South Australian competitors as they lined up for the first challenge ready for a day of adventure and fun.
Mt Crawford provided some varied and beautiful mountain bike terrain before competitors made their way back to Race HQ and slipped, flung, crawled and sung their way around the challenges posed. 
And at the end it was all smiles as teams crossed the finish line in all their glory with Brett, Scott & Paul of team Nitro Nobblies taking line honours in 5 hrs & 7 mins. 
And at the end of the day it was time to announce the winners and to see if anyone had found the secret 'Dash 4 the Stash' booty. As it turns out Team Schubert (A family team with Dad, Son & Cousin) found the stash and took home a Mountain Designs Adventure Race Starter kit valued at over $360 so congratulations guys!
